Hello and Welcome if you came to this page I guess that means you would like to know more about me. Let me see where to begin? One day in August of 1973 the biggest mouth ever heard from or ever will be heard from entered the world (my brother will agree to this one).
OK time to become serious and get down to business. OK OK those who know me well know that I’m never completely serious. I have to have at least one wisecrack a day. It’s what has kept me sane all of these years with the family I have. If any of you are reading this I love the whole lot of you even if you're all crazy.
Now for some info about me. My name is Ticia and I was born in August of 1973. That’s right for those of you who can’t add that makes me 32. I’m the oldest child and only daughter of Paul and Betty Lou. I have a younger brother who is four years younger then me also named Paul.
My Father Paul is a Civilian worker at McGuire Air Force Base in NJ. He retired from the USAF Reserves in 1997. He spent time in Texas and California before coming back to NJ permanently. He served his country proudly for 33 years and I for one am very proud of him and all he has done.
My Mother Betty Lou is a sales rep for a hearing aid company in NJ. She spent the first 12 years of my life raising my brother and I. Something we are both thankful for today. My mother has always been and always will be my best friend. My parents divorced in 1986 after almost 14 years of marriage. My mother has since remarried and has been married to my stepfather now for 19 years. The poor man he has my condolences. Love ya Mom :)
My younger Brother Paul is and always will be a thorn in my side. He is a thorn that I welcome and couldn’t imagine my life without. He is the only person who truly knows what I went through growing up because he has went through them to and has been with me every step of the way. Though I bitch and moan about my brother from time to time I love him and can’t imagine my life without him. He is a corperate manager for BP these days and he is the father to the love of my life my nephews Brandon who is 5 and Ryan who was born on August 10, 2005.
My Friends Tonia, Kris, and Donna what can I possibly say about this bunch? They are my partners in crime!
Tonia and I have known each other for 20 years now since she was in the 6th grade and I was in the 5th respectively. We used to play basketball together and we were on the High School Bowling team together. In spite of those two nightmares (if you saw the two of us playing basketball you would understand why I call it a nightmare) we still hang around with one another even today. She is one of the truly good and genuine people in this world and you couldn't ask for a better friend then her.
Kris and I have known each other for 17 VERY LONG, GRUELING, years. We met in the cafeteria at High School my Freshman and her Sophomore year of High School and we have been friends ever since. She has bowled off and on with me for 8 years now and it has been pure torture (for her). She is the ditzy, airheaded one of the group but to know her is to love her. We pick on her constantly and she takes it all with a smile on her face and just keeps right on trucking. If we didn't love her we wouldn't pick on her :).
Donna and I have known each other for almost 15 years. We met my Junior and her Senior year of High School when she moved to NJ from Long Island, NY. To know Donna is to love her. She is always making wisecracks of some form or another making all of us laugh (nearly choking me to death at the bar a while back). She has this Long Island love hate relationship with Seagulls. They love to shit on her head and she loves to hate them and call them any name in the book that she can think of. Trust me the rest of us has gotten many a laugh because of this woman. If you ever want to have a party or just wish to have someone over for a few good laughs Donna is the person to invite. She is always good for a laugh and if your ever feeling down she is the one to get in touch with she'll brighten up your day. Now for My Best Friend Janet. She has been like a little sister to me for 14 years and I have never nor will I ever forget all of the good times we have had together and will have together. She is my best friend, my pal, my confidant and the person most like me in temperment. She is the founder and the President of the Bitch Club where I've also been a proud member for 9 years. I'm the Vice-President but not only that I'm also a client. The two of us probably have the most wicked sense of humors you'll ever come across and the scary part is we both usually know what the other one is thinking which makes us together that much more funnier. We have our own routine going it's called The Bitch's of Burlington County and we should be touring to a location near you shortly. Seriously though Janet is a great person and I love her to death and I don't know what my life would be without her in it. I thank God for her every day and her laughter, her insanity, and most of all her strength. What can I say I love her like a little sister oh I already said that but damnit it's true. Now the moment you have all been waiting for it’s time to talk about me. I’m 32 years old and I have lived my
entire life in the area of the New Jersey Pinelands until March 2003 when I moved to PA. I’m of German, English, Irish and Scottish decent most say I
look more Irish and Scottish then anything else but I’m proud of all of my grandparents and my heritage. I
graduated from Lenape High School in 1992. Since my graduation from that esteemed institution (no it’s not a
mental institution though sometimes it seemed that way) I have been attending college. I’m currently studying
education as well as web design. I’ve been an avid bowler since the age of 2 and I’m a big Nascar fan as well as all
of the Philadelphia area sporting teams (GOD help me).
I was raised in a Christian home Methodist to be exact. I attended Church until I was 18 and then I came to
realize that I didn’t believe in the Church aspect with regards to my religious beliefs. I just do not feel that any one
religion is better than another and I also do not support some of the Religious propaganda that the Church seems to
enjoy teaching. My parents always raised me to respect and judge everyone by what they were on the inside and
not what they were on the outside. I was also raised by my parents to stand up for myself and to always do what I
believed to be right and wrong. They have never once criticized me in regards to my beliefs with the Church. I
still believe there is a higher being that we all answer too and I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ I just don’t believe
in the whole you have to go to Church to be saved routine.
Well here are some of my future plans and dreams. I would like to get a job in web design or computers in general.
Perhaps my greatest dream is to someday become a comedian. I’ve always had dreams and some I’ve given up but
that is one dream I’m going to try too hold on to for as long as I can.
